Shipping Policy

Due to the large volume of orders, we are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed. You are notified of this during the checkout process.

The exception is if the total order price has increased from what was originally calculated at checkout. Either a Part price increase making the total of your cart more than the original order or a shipping charge increase due to oversized parts not qualifying for free shipping. If this happens you will be asked to approve the changes or cancel the order.

We may cancel parts from your order that are on national backorder or that have been discontinued from GM. At this point the balance of your order will be shipped.

Texas residents will be charged sales tax.

You must provide a physical address. We do not ship to PO Boxes or APOs. We ship all orders using FedEx and do NOT ship any item considered Hazardous Material.

Express Shipping: In stock items will ship within 24 hours of order placement (weekdays). Out of stock items will ship your selected shipping method once they are received by us. EXPRESS SHIPPING is not available for oversized items. No order processing, shipping or delivery on weekends. Example- 2 day delivery in stock order placed Friday A.M. should ship Friday P.M and you should receive it Tuesday.

Ground Shipping: Please allow up to 48 hours for order processing. In stock items will ship within 24-48 hours of order being processed. Out of stock items will ship once they are received by us usually within 3-5 days.

Free Shipping: Packages must be 36" x 24" x 12" or smaller. You will be notified via e-mail if your order does not qualify for free shipping. Offer is limited to the continental United States and does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Excludes oversized or heavy items. Example of oversized items are any body parts, bumpers, bumper cover, exhaust parts, fender, hood, fuel tanks, wheel liner, engines, transmissions, or any other oversized item larger than 36" x 24" x 12".

Handling Charge: At checkout, there will be a $ 8.95 Handling Charge added to every order to cover the cost of insurance and packaging of your order.

Most products listed in our catalog are in stock or are immediately available from our warehouse. If we have it, it goes out as soon as possible usually within 48 hours. Depending on the availability from General Motors, we can have product shipped to you in seven to ten business days. Sometimes it can be quicker, but use the 7 -10 number as an "average".

Oversized GROUND Shipping charges on larger parts such as hoods, bumpers, quarter panels, etc. are aprox $95.00 - $250.00 per piece... 48 states only. (Engines, Transmissions, Large body parts) Orders totaling over $300.00 will require a Direct Signature by the card holder at the time of delivery.

Minimum 48 State Shipping is $0. Minimum Alaska and Hawaii Shipping is $22.00. We do not ship Internationally.

Warranty

The warranty on the GM OEM / AC DELCO Parts sold on this website is 12 Months/12,000 miles whichever comes first. There are 2 ways for you to get the part replaced.

1. E-mail us at info@chevroletpartsdirect.com for a copy of the Dealer Invoice pertaining to your online order and find a dealer locally near you willing to warranty the part. A copy of the dealer invoice, your complete VIN number and current mileage are required. (Not all dealers will warranty parts they did not sell. It is at their discretion.)

2. E-mail us at info@chevroletpartsdirect.com letting us know your part is defective. Then place another order by part number on the website using your old order receipt as reference to identify the correct part number. On the new order put in the comments section this is a replacement part and reference the original order number. Once you replace your defective part you must package the part in the same packaging you received the replacement part including all GM labels and markings. Include a copy of your invoice, your VIN, current mileage and what is wrong with the part. Send the package back (at your expense) within 30 days following the return procedure listed under policies on the website.
