Fuel System
The fuel system encompasses everything from the tank to the engine including the fuel filter, fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel lines and fuel-pressure regulator. If all of these are working right the fuel travels through your GM vehicle and provides energy necessary for it to run. If there is a problem, it means that the fuel isn't getting into the engine and this can cause the engine to overheat and burn out. One of the most common reasons for the fuel not getting into the engine properly is a clogged fuel filter. It is important to change this filter as recommended by your GM owner's manual. Overtime other parts do become worn and should be replaced with genuine OEM parts for your fuel system. Using an OEM part for your fuel system is important to make sure your GM vehicle is getting the fuel that it needs in the proper way that it needs it. If you use an aftermarket product you could get an improper mix of air and fuel or a bad connection that can result in damage to the engine.Ê Shop our webstore for all of your fuel system needs.
